How to Report Content

If you see something that violates our Community Rules or Content Policy, reporting it helps keep the community safe.

How to Report

Reporting a Post

  1. Click the ”…” menu on any post
  2. Select Report
  3. Choose the reason that best describes the violation
  4. Add any additional context (optional but helpful)
  5. Submit the report

Reporting a Comment

  1. Click the ”…” menu next to any comment
  2. Select Report
  3. Choose the reason and submit

Reporting a User

If a user is engaging in a pattern of rule-breaking behavior:

  1. Go to their profile
  2. Use the Report User option
  3. Describe the pattern of behavior you’ve observed
  4. Include links to specific examples if possible

What Happens After You Report

  1. Your report enters the mod queue — Moderators review all reports
  2. A moderator reviews the content — They check it against our rules
  3. Action is taken — The moderator may warn the user, remove the content, or take further action
  4. You may be notified — In some cases, you’ll receive a notification about the outcome

Reports are anonymous — the reported user will not know who reported them.

When to Report

Report content that:

  • Contains personal attacks or harassment
  • Includes hate speech or discrimination
  • Is spam or unsolicited self-promotion
  • Contains NSFW content without proper tagging
  • Shares someone’s private information
  • Involves illegal activity
  • Violates any of our Community Rules

When Not to Report

Don’t report content just because:

  • You disagree with someone’s opinion
  • You don’t like someone’s style or taste
  • A post isn’t interesting to you
  • Someone criticized your post constructively

Misusing the report system (false reports, harassment via reports) may result in action against the reporting account.

Emergency Situations

If you encounter content involving:

  • Immediate threats of violence — Contact local law enforcement first, then report on the platform
  • Content involving minors — Report immediately; these are prioritized by moderators
  • Suicidal or self-harm content — If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services. Then report the content so moderators can respond with appropriate resources.

Contact Moderators Directly

If your concern doesn’t fit a standard report, or if you need to discuss something privately, use modmail to contact the moderation team directly.
